How to Properly Use Auto Cashout and Dual Bet in Aviator
Aviator by Spribe has two tools that hardly anyone uses correctly: Auto Cashout and Dual Bet. At which thresholds is Auto Cashout worthwhile? How do you combine two bets? And what does 97% RTP concretely mean for a session?
How Aviator works
An airplane takes off, the multiplier rises from 1.01x. At some point, it crashes – the timing is random (RNG-based). Press “Cashout” before the crash, and the bet is multiplied by the current multiplier. Too late? Bet lost. Each round takes a few seconds, all players share the same round. No bonus rounds, no free spins.
Auto Cashout in Aviator: The math behind it
Auto Cashout secures winnings automatically at a preset multiplier. The probability of reaching a certain multiplier can be calculated with 97% RTP: P(x) = 0.97 / x.
| Multiplier target | Probability (approx.) | EV per 1 EUR |
|---|---|---|
| 1.5x | 64.7% | 0.97 EUR |
| 2.0x | 48.5% | 0.97 EUR |
| 3.0x | 32.3% | 0.97 EUR |
| 5.0x | 19.4% | 0.97 EUR |
| 10.0x | 9.7% | 0.97 EUR |
The expected value remains constant at 0.97 EUR per euro bet – no matter which threshold you choose. This is the house edge of 3%.
The difference lies in the variance. At 1.5x you win smaller amounts more frequently, the balance fluctuates less. At 10x, you hit rarely but the wins are large. For a small budget, 1.5x to 2.0x makes sense because the session lasts longer.

Dual Bet: Combining and securing bets
Aviator allows two separate bets per round, each with its own cashout.
Hedging strategy:
- Bet A: 2 EUR with Auto Cashout at 1.5x (frequent small wins)
- Bet B: 0.50 EUR manually, target 5x or higher
Bet A delivers a 1 EUR profit in about 65% of rounds. The frequent hits offset some of Bet B’s misses.
Staggered strategy:
- Bet A: 1 EUR, Auto Cashout at 2x
- Bet B: 1 EUR, Auto Cashout at 4x
In rounds above 4x you cash 6 EUR for 2 EUR bet. Between 2x and 4x still 2 EUR. Only rounds under 2x are completely negative.
Limits: Dual Bet does not change the expected value. 97% RTP remains. But the outcome distribution changes.
Session calculation without bonus rounds
Without free spins, the session duration can be calculated. At 97% RTP, you lose on average 3% per round:
- Budget 50 EUR, bet 1 EUR: approx. 1,667 rounds until the budget is mathematically depleted
- Budget 20 EUR, bet 0.50 EUR: approx. 1,333 rounds
- Budget 10 EUR, bet 0.10 EUR: approx. 3,333 rounds
Those who want to play 30 minutes (approx. 360 rounds) calculate an expected loss of about 10.80 EUR at 1 EUR bet. In reality the balance fluctuates strongly, but the calculation works as a guideline.
Auto Play vs. manual Cashout in Aviator
| Criterion | Auto Play + Auto Cashout | Manual play |
|---|---|---|
| Discipline | No temptation, longer to wait | Impulsive cashout possible |
| Speed | High, rounds run quickly | Slower, conscious decision |
| Suitable for | Players with a clear plan | Those who want to enjoy the moment |
Auto Play offers 10, 20, 50 or 100 rounds. Those who notice they constantly hesitate to cash out are better off with Auto Cashout.

Player opinions
“I’ve been playing with Auto Cashout at 2x and Dual Bet for a year. The first bet runs automatically, the second manually. My balance lasts significantly longer than before.”
– Stefan, Cologne
“Auto Play with 50 rounds and 1.5x is my standard setting in the morning. Takes ten minutes, I check the result with coffee.”
– Nadine, Hamburg
“I played manually for a long time and got annoyed every time I missed the cashout. Since Auto Cashout at 3x, playing is more relaxed.”
– Markus, Munich

Conclusion
Auto Cashout and Dual Bet make Aviator one of the controllable titles among Crash Games. The RTP remains at 97%, regardless of the setting chosen. But the tools allow adapting variance to the own budget.
Rating: 4.2 / 5
Which Auto Cashout value should you set for Aviator?
For a small balance, 1.5x to 2.0x makes sense because the session lasts longer. Higher values like 10x greatly reduce the chance of hitting. The expected value always remains the same.
Does Dual Bet bring an advantage in Aviator?
Dual Bet changes the distribution of outcomes, not the expected value. Two bets allow a conservative and an aggressive approach simultaneously.
Is Aviator Provably Fair?
Yes. Each round is cryptographically generated and can be verified afterwards. Spribe makes the server seeds public.
How long does a budget of 20 EUR last in Aviator?
At 0.50 EUR per round, approximately 1,333 rounds mathematically. With about 5 seconds per round, roughly 110 minutes. In practice, this value fluctuates strongly.
What distinguishes Aviator from JetX and Spaceman?
Aviator and JetX both offer Dual Bet and 97% RTP. Spaceman has no Dual Bet and only 95.5% RTP. Aviator is the only one that is Provably Fair.
